artasfoundation not only carries out practical work in conflict regions but also seeks to foster peacebuilding through art in the local educational landscape. One building block to this aim was a cooperation with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, which set the annual theme International Artist Networks in 2022. Thinking, researching and acting in international contexts. In the spring semester of 2022, artasfoundation proposed a diverse programme of lectures, working discussions, and feedback on students’ artistic works as part of the Guest Guest Curators series of the Bachelor of Art & Design. The focus was on socially engaged art and international collaboration, which opened one of artasfoundation’s core themes for discussion at the university.
